Each collection tells a story, and it’s wonderful to experience a part of it together with our customers.

At Weise Toys, we find it particularly valuable to meet our customers in person. During these visits, we get a unique insight into their collections, hear their stories, and discover how our models are cherished. On this page, we share some of these encounters, a combination of photos and short stories that showcase the passion and dedication of collectors.

Visit in Altendonop, October 4, 2017

After completing the work, just in time for the photoshoot!

Of course, we mean the Wotan, who in 2017 as well was never intimidated by his work. Together with his Eicher team, the job is much easier for him.

Our sincere thanks to the Drifte family for their support with this model project.

Besuch in Rennerod am 27. Dezember 2012

Visit in Rennerod, December 27, 2012

The sun was particularly kind to us during our photoshoot—perhaps even a little too much…

We would like to sincerely thank Edgar Reuscher for his generous and constructive support throughout the entire Euro-Trac project. Without his willing assistance, it would have been almost impossible to place the scale-accurate tractor alongside the original!

Feldtage Nordhorn, August 8, 2009

The rain could not dampen our joy when Ludger Lindenschmidt and I presented our Schlüter Super Trac 2000 TVL to Peter Spitzer (standing behind his son in the photo).

We would like to sincerely thank him for his support in the realization of our 1:32 scale model project.

Besuch bei Familie Terpstra am 18. und 19. September 2008

Visit to the Terpstra family, September 18–19, 2008

Our work was done, and we were warmly welcomed with hot soup, coffee, and pastries. Upon leaving, a commemorative photo was taken with Grid and Hans Terpstra.

Many thanks, and see you in 2009 with the results of our preparations at 1:32 scale!

FENDT tractors in municipal use and heavy industry

FENDT equips its tractors for use outside agriculture with special tires, the so-called “lawn and garden” tires. These are designed for use in the municipal sector, for winter services, and in heavy industry. One of FENDT’s first suppliers is the Finnish tire manufacturer NOKIAN.

Besuch bei der ROTOMAG AG (Schweiz) am 28. Dezember 2006

Visit to ROTOMAG AG (Switzerland), December 28, 2006

On a beautiful, sunny winter morning in Sargans (Switzerland), we had an inspiring conversation with Mr. Müller from ROTOMAG AG. A special moment that gave us valuable insights into the working methods and passion of our customer.

Visit to Stetter GmbH, August 10, 2006

Many collectors have asked us why the vehicles from Stetter GmbH are painted red. Here is the answer: Franz-Josef Stetter (photo, right) is a big fan of Schlüter. Since there are no more Schlüter tractors available for purchase, the Fendt tractors also have to be painted red.

Stetter’s heraldic animal, the bear, is also a tribute to the Schlüter bear.

Bezoek bij loonbedrijf Karl-Heinz Hubbert, 1 juni 2006

Visit to agricultural contractor Karl-Heinz Hubbert, June 1, 2006

Karl-Heinz Hubbert, seen here in his canola-yellow DEUTZ-FAHR 1130 Agrotron, is both a passionate advocate and a pioneer. The yellow color of his tractor symbolizes his belief that, with increasingly scarce resources, alternatives must be explored and tested.

“The golden-yellow canola, which grows in Germany’s ‘oil fields,’ is the raw material for biodiesel production. This plant provides a renewable source of fuel for my vehicle and is environmentally friendly. Biodiesel emits only as much CO₂ as the plant absorbed during its growth. It contains no sulfur, and therefore does not contribute to acid rain, deforestation, or damage to monuments. Biodiesel is rapidly biodegradable, reducing the risk to soil and groundwater during transport, storage, and use. It is not classified as hazardous and falls into water hazard class 1. Biodiesel and conventional diesel can be mixed in the fuel tank without any problems.”

Visit to agricultural contractor Post (Netherlands), April 26, 2005

…not only the sun is smiling…

Many thanks to Bert Post for his collaboration during the project and to everyone who praised us so enthusiastically.
